A lot of dairy plants are not continuous lines for processing high volumes of dairy products. In fact, many smaller and medium-sized plants do controlled batch heating of the product. To suit this type of operation, we manufacture a range of Batch Pasteurization Tanks in Ahmedabad that provide a reliable method of heating milk and holding it after the heating process, before cooling, across Gujarat and India.
The Batch Pasteurization Tank is designed to heat milk to the appropriate temperature for pasteurization and maintain that holding time before it is cooled. The tanks are manufactured from food-grade stainless steel for cleanliness/hygiene and long-lasting durability. The vessels are made up of a steam jacket to ensure that the surface of the vessel is evenly heated during the heating cycle. An agitating device is fitted to ensure that during the heating process, the temperature of the milk is evenly distributed throughout the tank.
Accurate temperature control is required to ensure that any small changes in temperature during pasteurization will not affect the quality or safety of the product. There is adequate insulation installed to ensure minimal heat loss during the heating process and, therefore, to reduce the amount of steam consumed. The tank is fitted with a drain and cleanout arrangement for easy draining and cleaning after processing each batch of milk.
Batch Pasteurization Tanks are manufactured in various sizes depending on the amount of milk processed daily. From small dairies in Ahmedabad to larger Regional Milk Processing Plants, we manufacture and supply reliable Batch Pasteurization Tanks that contribute to the safe pasteurization of milk and the smooth operation of plants throughout India.
